About This Event
Join WALTER at Maywood Hall as we host Joy Callaway, the international bestselling author of What The Mountains Remember, All The Pretty Places, The Grand Design, Secret Sisters and The Fifth Avenue Artists Society. She’ll be in conversation with her friend and fellow author Kristy Woodson Harvey to talk about her two newest books, The Star of Camp Greene and Sing Me Home to Carolina.
Your ticket includes cocktail hour, hors d'oeuvres, unlimited wine, a book talk and signing opportunity with Callaway. Her book, The Star of Camp Greene, is also available for purchase with your ticket, and she’ll have previous books available for purchase at the event as well.
We caught up with Joy and she shared how she got into writing and the inspiration for the two books she'll release this spring. Read it here!
Meet the Organizer
WALTER the magazine was named after Sir Walter Raleigh the man, the intriguing individual our city claims as its namesake. He was, among other things, a writer, poet and explorer—and we channel those qualities in our pages.
