WORKSHOPS
WORKSHOP 1: PERSONAL BRANDING
Led by Danielle Galmore, Touchpoint Wines
Your brand is what others say about you when you are not in the room. Being intentional can help you build a professional reputation that can be a powerful tool in advancing your career. In this workshop we reflect on our brand, then use wine label design as a metaphor and framework to express our personal brand, which you will share with others in the workshop. All while we sip wines of course!
WORKSHOP 2: VOICE TO POWER
Led by Chasta Hamilton, Entrepreneur/Speaker/Author
How do you lend your authenticity and vulnerability to elevate your personal and professional paths? Using our truths (and tragedies), we will discuss an actionable 12-step plan about how our stories can unlock personal growth and serve as an inspiration to those around us.
WORKSHOP 3: THE PRACTICE OF INNOVATION
Led by Melissa Carrier and Elizabeth Benefield, Radiate Works
Innovation is both art and science. Through practice, you can build the skills to open new channels of creativity and problem solving, and deliver value for all stakeholders. Rather than a “check box” approach, join us in learning how to adopt an innovative mindset to maximize your individual and collective impact.
Where It's Happening
Meet the Organizer
WALTER the magazine was named after Sir Walter Raleigh the man, the intriguing individual our city claims as its namesake. He was, among other things, a writer, poet and explorer—and we channel those qualities in our pages.
